M & M Lumber Company has been in business since 1936. We are proud members of the Lumbermen's Association of Texas and the Greater Houston Builders Association. Many years of community involvement and prompt quality service have become the cornerstone of our development over the past 60+ years. New ownership within the past year has furthered that commitment with new product lines,boosted inventories, new delivery routes and an outside sales staff. All of these new and exciting changes have brought M & M Lumber Company back to the forefront of the timber and custom milling industry. Our product lines and inventories consist of Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir, Southern Yellow Pine, Mixed Hardwoods, Cypress, Antique Reclaimed Timbers, and Hand Distressed Material. Custom Milling has remained at the core of M & M Lumbers capabilities. In addition to the standard re sawing and surfacing, we also run siding patterns and truck bed stock. We operate a full service milling facility equipped to handle custom work for industrial, contractor and homeowner applications.

Recycling means “taking items out of the waste system that would otherwise end up in a landfill and using them for some other purpose. Paper, for instance, can be recycled into new paper items, glass products can be crushed and reformed, wood items such as flooring can be adapted for other use - and much more. By reusing or recycling these items, they are taken out of the waste system with ongoing benefits”.

It's fair to wonder how we can recycle to save our planet, since it seems like such a small thing to do in the face of so much else that needs to be done to reduce the threat of global warming. However, if more individuals and businesses make a concerted effort to recycle, as well as reduce and reuse, it will have a powerful positive impact.

Tree and Lumber Recycling Program...Our recycling program has exceeded our expectations, until today we have collected more than 200 tons of trees and lumber. We have reduced the harvesting of more than 100,000 trees.
